Welcome to 2015

Now that we are well into 2015 I will go back and recap the second half of the month of December.  (did I mention my New Years Resolution is to do a better job keeping up with my blog???)

Christmas 2015 was the first year both girls sat on Santa's lap with no crying!  After this photo was taken I became motivated to find all the previous years Santa photo and get them all framed and lined up to look at.  How cute seeing all those throwback holiday photos!

This year we all even made it to church!  The really smart decision was going to the noon children's service (wow, what genius came up with that plan?!?) at a Methodist church close to home.  It was a nice Christmas Eve!

And, finally, some shots from Christmas.  Kate got a big girl sleeping bag since her first sleepover is most likely coming up soon!  (and she outgrew her nap mat)  And both girls got lots of princess stuff - because they hardly had any princess stuff...  :-)

Christmas vacation mean too much TV, time spent in jammies and playing with new toys.  One of our favorites was the lego set Kate got from the Vermont Faulkners!  So fun!

Mommy and Daddy's Christmas present finally got here - about a week after Christmas.  But, yay, it was totally worth the wait!!

And, finally, we took a little family hike at Paris Mountain on New Years Day.  It was a fun outing to the north side of Greenville - where you magically are in the mountains, yet still in Greenville!  I was happy I wasn't participating in the Polar Plunge that we stumbled across that day.  Though Brett says he's going to do it next year.  Have fun with that...
